Please note the following requirements:

  • To create your custom-made Bride's Songbook®, I will contact you to record your voice (to mix and place into your Father/Daughter Dance). It is very simple, I will record you speaking from your telephone.
  • You will need to provide me with a telephone number from a land-line (not a mobile phone). In order to record your voice at the highest possible quality, it is preferable to have a corded, land-line phone. Other phones will work, of course, however if you have access to a corded phone, that is best.
  • Try to write down in a script what you want to say to your Dad- that is the best way! Only you know your Father from your point of view. However, if you need some help, I can send you scripts that can customized for dear old Dad. In any case, your final speech should be about 45 to 60 seconds long (that's about half a typewritten page, double-spaced). And don't worry... if you mess up, we'll record it until you get it right!
  • The song you choose for your Father/Daughter Dance will be downloaded, for you, from iTunes. It is specifically for your CD. If you order extra copies of the CD, the song will be downloaded again for each copy. This avoids any copyright complications.
  • If I am the DJ/Host for Your Wedding, I will bring the CD for you to take home that evening. If you need the CD mailed to you, please allow two to three weeks after we record your voice to receive your CD.
  • I will contact you no later than one week after payment is received to set a phone appointment to record your voice.
  • Shipping and Handling, if needed, are FREE!

About the song choice:
I suggest You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban (it's the song in the sample). This song has a natural instrumental section, perfect for your voice-over.

Of course, you may choose any song you like. However, please be aware that your voice may cover the vocals if another song is chosen.
