School Dance Equipment Rental.

If you are in the process of looking for a DJ for your next school dance, I am sure you find the task daunting. Today, many schools simply cannot afford the higher-end shows some companies offer. Others may be disappointed in the DJs they have hired in the past.

Some school dances even a negative buzz attached to them, because of the following factors:

  • Because of limited education budgets, schools may not be able to not hire top-notch entertainment, which could possibly lead to a DJ that is not quite up to standards.
  • Some schools may have hired hobbyists or students in the past, not realizing that much of the music may have been illegally downloaded. This is definitely not a practice schools want to condone.
  • Many times, the students and the faculty are at odds as to what music should be played. The students want today's edgier hip-hop sound, while administrators prefer to keep it "nice and clean."
  • Because of past experiences, schools may eventually give up on dances altogether.

Well, relax. You can have a successful school dance! If you have had less than perfect events in the past, or your school simply cannot afford the DJ or band you would like, renting professional DJ equipment may be the answer for you.

If you have never thought about this alternative, consider this: a DJ equipment rental (in the Central Florida area) will still give you the quality sound needed for a school dance, but will save you 60%-70% off the normal price of a professional DJ.

How does this work? We don't know anything about operating professional DJ equipment!
Not to worry, you're all set. This is what an equipment rental covers:

  • Delivery and set-up to your school dance. You do not need to pick up or return anything.
  • Every DJ equipment rental includes an audio technician to operate and control the equipment for the duration of your event.
  • The rental includes all equiment needed for up to 300 guests.
  • When the event is over, we take it all home. Nothing to return!

What if I want to rent the equipment, and operate it myself or have someone else operate it?
Sorry, but because of liability issues, the equipment can only be rented WITH the audio technician to operate it.

But I am a DJ and I know a lot about how to operate DJ equipment!
Sorry, but there are no exceptions.

What about a microphone? Can we still have announcements or live speakers?
Absolutely. Every rental also comes with a microphone so you may have a faculty member or student make announcements, dedications, or MC your dance.

Why is the rental so cheap? What am I giving up?
Good questions. The rental price is low because you are not actually hiring a DJ to host your dance. The audio technician is just that, a technician. His expertise is operating the professional equipment, mixing music, and audio set-up. You will have full access to the microphone so you can assign an MC to make announcements, etc.

What about music? Is that included?
Each rental also comes with a 5000+ title songlist that you choose from, and students choose the music before the dance. You can click here to see the songlist. Of course, the songlist must have faculty approval. Also, every song that we use is a "clean" edited version- what you would hear on the radio.

What about our own CDs? Can we bring them for you to play?
Sorry, but because there is so much "un-edited" material out there, we will only play music from our library, from a faculty-approved list.

Alright! Sounds good- Now, what are the prices?
The rates are as follows:

  • Three hour minimum: $349
  • Each additional hour: $99
