Classic DJs Equipment Rental Agreement for the iPod Party Rental

A. Client agrees to provide the following:

  • Pre-Payment of rental fee at time of booking. You may pay by PayPal or personal check (if your event is more than two months away).
  • Permission to perform and no-fee parking access at event address.
  • Ample, weather-protected set-up area and electrical outlet. Please note each speaker will be set up right next to the main equipment, not more than ten feet away.
  • Elevator or ramped access on a paved, smooth/flat surface to performance area.
  • IMPORTANT! Please arrange for these provisions in advance. If they cannot be provided, Audio Technician may cancel performance without refund.

B. Your complete satisfaction is my goal!

  • Instructions to operate equipment is by simplified guidebook, and from the Technician setting up.
  • Client agrees not to abuse the equipment, and will not place the equipment in areas of extreme weather (ANY rain, sunlight, or heat). Audio Technician has final judgement on location of equipment.
  • Client agrees to control actions of persons present at the event and accepts responsibility for them. Audio Technician may cancel performance for safety concerns without refund.
  • Audio Technician may extend, if available, at prevailing hourly rates if you desire.
  • You may use an additional iPod in the mixer to "mix" music. Although the mixer accepts all iPods (including the Touch) that are "dockable," we cannot guarantee the operability of your particular iPod.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount of the rental only.

    C. Cancellation
    Because the Wedding/Event industry is operated on such a large advance booking time, these policies are in effect. I strive to be fair to both clients and the business. Please note that a change or postponement of rental date after payment is received is the same as a cancellation. Re-booking a postponed date is subject to availability. Cancellation must be confirmed by Classic DJs for any refund due.Client may cancel, in writing, to the following terms:

    • MORE than 60 days- Your payment is refundable, less a 20% cancellation fee.
    • MORE than 30 but less than 60 days- Your payment is refundable, less a 50% cancellation fee.
    • LESS than 30 days- Payment is non-refundable.
    • Classic DJs may cancel, with full refund, in the event of unknown circumstances or other disasters, natural or man-made.

    If paying by PayPal/credit card, please print this page for your records, and click on the button below. When paying with credit card, you agree that you have confirmed your date is available for your event, and you accept all provisions in this agreement.
